这是比利时歌手戴娜-温纳（Dana Winner）翻唱英国歌手迈克-奥德菲尔德（Mike Oldfield）的《月光的影子》。这首歌最初是英国的Mike Oldfield创作的，很多人翻唱过，Maggie Reilly、Groove Coverage、卢巧音等等。Dana Winner的声音如月光般清澈透明，仿佛穿透了云层，自窗外天空飘了进来，觉得无比的空灵，前奏琴声有些许哀伤，而之后Dana清丽的嗓音，却让人忘却了尘世的哀伤。琴声交错着Dana透明的声音，仿佛看到她在月色朦胧的湖边飘动着吟唱着，看了一下歌词，却发现是个感伤的故事。
据说，这首1983年问世的曲子原是为纪念甲克虫乐队（The Beatles）被枪杀的主唱约翰-列侬（John Lennon）而作（1980年12月8日，马克•查普曼伪装成一个歌迷，在列侬的公寓旁边徘徊了很久。那天晚上，当列侬从录音棚返回家中的时候，查普曼请列侬在他的签字本上签名。当时他内心曾进行过激烈的斗争，但最后仍然举起手枪朝着列侬的后背连开了5枪。）
另一说，这首歌的灵感来源于Tony Curtis主演的电影Houdini 霍迪尼传(Houdini)是美国派拉蒙公司于1953年7月2日上映的电影，故事梗概如下：在举世闻名的幻觉大师哈利胡迪尼逝世十年后，他的遗孀贝丝找上一位灵媒,来为她召唤亡夫的鬼魂，之后便以倒叙手法回顾胡迪尼传奇的一生 但我觉得创作这首歌的才华出众但却忧郁无比的Mike Oldfield未必有所特指，或许没必要多去考证了。
